Tonight was Opening night at Peterborough Speedway.
The weather was normally chilly but there was rain in the forcast.As the night pushed forward,all the classes were able to complete their scheduels.Fireworks and King of the Hill were a big crowd pleaser,especially after Riley Ekins (in His Car 82 )   showed off his car skills after his 360 in the front scretch. Good show Car 82,go for the Gold.
New comers and last year rookies were there tonight trying to find their place in the pack of veterans,,some learn early to "Keep their line,and stay low in the corners,sometimes they will learn the hard way." Either way ,if they keep at it-they will Learn.
Tonight saw Last Years Ministock Champion return for a visit ,taking wins for both heats and winning the first TRYON MASONRY Ministock Trophy.Some would say it was a "clinic",some would say it was just "Luck",,but those who really watched the complete race, seen it as skill.Congratulations goes out to Paul Hannah for a clean sweep on the first night of Racing at the 40th Opening Year of Peterborough Speedway.
